Beak & Branch ("we", "this site") is a content website. We don't require accounts, we don't sell products directly, and we collect as little as the site can run on.

What we collect

• Server logs. Our web server records standard request data — IP address, user agent, requested page, referrer and timestamp — used for security and to keep the site working. Logs are rotated and are not used to identify individuals.
• Analytics. We use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand which guides are read. We do not build individual visitor profiles.
• Email you send us. If you contact us, we keep the correspondence for as long as needed to handle it. It is never added to a marketing list.

Affiliate links

Buying guides link to Amazon through the Amazon Associates program. When you click one, Amazon sets cookies on its own domain to attribute a potential purchase; that process is governed by Amazon's privacy notice, not ours. We receive aggregate commission reports, never your identity or order history.

Advertising cookies

Some informational pages carry display advertising served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use advertising cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings, and learn how Google uses data from partner sites at policies.google.com.
